# Exporting Metadata into Your NLE

Shade supports exporting metadata directly into your NLE via .CSV and .ALE formats. You can easily access this by clicking on the view you'd like and selecting "export view". Importing&#x20;

## Specific notes for properly importing media into Davinci Resolve

To import Shade Metadata into Davinci Resolve, make sure you disable "Match using clip start and end Timecode". This can be found by first importing metadata to the entire media pool (or selected clips)&#x20;

And then explicitly de-selecting the start and end time code checkbox.
