# Managing your Trash

Deleting files from the Shade webapp or desktop will move them to the trash folder which can be found on the left panel under the drive. Trashed items can be recovered by right-clicking and moving the folder or asset back to the drive root.

Items moved to your trash still count towards your workspace storage. To permanently delete items in your trash:

* Navigating to the **Trash** tab under your drive
* Right click the items you want to delete
* Press **Delete Immediately**&#x20;
